I am a disease ecologist interested in the how host-parasite relationships are shaped by the environment. In particular, I am interested in how resource quality alters parasitism in wild populations and in how complex within-host interactions influence host fitness.

I currently work on two wild systems. Experimental resource supplementation in wood mice (Apodemus sylvaticus) and the ecological role of gut community dynamics in Soay sheep of St. Kila (Ovis aries).
